Starting with winning the illustrious National Science Foundation Fellowship in graduate school, Dr. Teske has garnered many awards for his teaching and scholarship during his career. In 2016 he became the first person ever to win Senior Faculty Merit twice at his institution. His Brain, Mind and Spirit Honors Seminar won the Templeton Foundation's Science and Religion Course Award. He is currently a Behavior and Brain Sciences Associate, a Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion and an Academic Fellow of the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science. In addition, Dr. Teske has an impressive list of academic publications in the fields of perception, psychology, science and religion.
